Ilex crenata ‘Green Luster’, Green Luster Holly
Height: 2’ Spread: 2’

Ilex x meserveae, Blue Holly
Height: 10’ Spread: 10’
A beautiful slow growing female holly with lovely red fruit in winter. The foliage is a lustrous dark green. It can easily be maintained to just about any height. Plant alongside ‘Blue Boy’ for pollination.
Pyracantha coccinea, Firethorn
This is an irregularly shaped evergreen with green glossy foliage. It produces a prolific and eye-catching display of berries. Pyracantha is often grown against a wall or fence as an espalier. Although it is most well known for the vibrant color of its berries, the flowers are also extremely attractive in late spring. Almost all varieties have white or cream colored flowers, and if the plants are situated in a sunny aspect, a haze of abundant blossom is guaranteed. Pyracantha is a member of the rose family.
To bear the familiar red fruit, hollies require both sexes; female plants will carry the fruit. A Blue Prince, Blue Stallion or China Boy will pollinate Blue Princess, Blue Maid, China Girl or Golden Girl. Holly should always be carefully sited to avoid scorching winter sun.
